This Refund Policy applies to paid subscriptions, licenses, or other purchases made directly through Wordlize. Many Wordlize features are available to try at no cost.
1. Free access
Wordlize offers free ways to explore the platform, including trial access through our website. No refund applies to free features because no payment is collected.
2. Paid purchases
If you purchase a paid plan, school license, or other paid offering, the price and billing terms shown at checkout apply. Unless otherwise stated at purchase, subscriptions renew automatically until canceled.
3. Refund eligibility
We want you to be satisfied with Wordlize. You may request a refund within 14 days of an initial paid purchase if:
- the purchase was made directly through Wordlize;
- you have not substantially used paid-only features beyond reasonable evaluation; and
- your request includes the email address associated with the account and proof of purchase.
Refund decisions are made in good faith based on account activity and the nature of the purchase.
4. Non-refundable situations
Refunds are generally not available when:
- a billing period has already ended or a renewal charge is for a period already in progress;
- paid features have been substantially used;
- the purchase was made through a third party, app store, or reseller (refunds must be requested through that provider);
- the request is made outside the eligible window, except where required by law.
5. Cancellations
You may cancel a subscription to prevent future charges. Canceling stops renewal but does not automatically refund amounts already paid for the current billing period unless a refund is approved under this policy or applicable law.
6. School and institutional purchases
Refunds for school, district, or institutional agreements may be governed by the separate order form, quote, or contract for that purchase. Contact us if you need help locating the terms that apply.
7. How to request a refund
Email hello@wordlize.com with:
- your full name;
- the email address on your Wordlize account;
- the product or plan purchased;
- the date of payment; and
- a brief explanation of your request.
We aim to respond within a reasonable time. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method where possible.
8. Chargebacks
If you have a billing concern, please contact us before initiating a chargeback so we can try to resolve the issue promptly.
9. Changes
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
